We offer regular classes twice weekly year round on Tuesdays and Thursdays at McGukin Civic Center in Cullman, Alabama with a few extra Saturday practices as well. Program Pricing is listed below, just after the video box. Kid's class starts at 5:30pm and ends around 6:30pm. The Family Class is from 6:45 to 7:30 and the Advanced Class runs until about 8:30pm. Students are always invited to participate in more than one class. We also have nationally recognized Rank Testings every 3 months so for those really dedicated students your To test our skills, we usually have 3 to 4 tournaments every year and have a great support team of Instructors and Instructor Trainees. The number one question people always want to know is, "How long will it take to get my Black Belt?" Typically, with successful rank testings and progress, a Cullman TaeKwonDo Student can receive the rank of Black Belt within 24 to 36 months of training in our organization unlike other programs in our area which can take up to 6 to 10 YEARS! Here at Cullman TaeKwonDo, we are concerned with successfully training you in this wonderful sport, not prolonging your monthly fees unnecessarily. DO NOT be fooled by some instructors that advance belt ranks this slowly citing, "a better commitment to training", as an excuse. This is counterproductive to the students' confidence in their abilities and tends to create a burnout effect among the students. It is my firm belief that No MMA, Ju Jitsu, or Grappling techniques should ever be taught to anyone younger than 21. Many of these techniques are for killing, maiming, and dislocation of joints which is not in the nature of the Humble TaeKwonDo Practitioner. So, please do not ask about these. I do, however, promote and teach various Judo techniques which are great counter-measures against the MMA, Ju Jitsu, and Grapplers. And, unlike these other "arts", Judo is a True Martial Art developed by Jiggaro Kano that actually means, The True Martial Arts of TaeKwonDo and Judo are both wonderfully supported by my Christian Beliefs. I teach from the perspective of using these techniques as humble tools to protect one's self and one's family when the need arises.
